Just a quick entry to let you know that this week has been crazy. I spent the whole thursday at the office, and yesterday I finished my work at around 7 so I could go to the opening gala yesterday. The closing ceremony last night went really well. It was quick and Dani Mateo was really good. He repeated part of a monologue that I have already heard, but he was good at improvising stuff as the ceremony went on. Ninja Assassin: probably the most PWP movie I have ever seen. ( HUGE SPOILERS )

I saw Fish Tank this morning. I liked it, but the last 20 min or so were a bit boring. There was no score, so all the shots of her walking around (and she walked a lot) and without dialogue felt a bit bleh at the end. Yesterday I saw Zombie Girl: The Movie. It was a documentary about Emily, a 12 year old that directs a zombie movie. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and to see all these people that helped her along the way. and her mum! That mum deserves the world. - Gegen die Wand (Head On): this film by Fatih Akin won the Golden Bear at Berlin 2004. I really liked it, although I thought it would be different. I guess I thought it would be more depressing, even though the female character is suicidal. Birol Ünel was really good and I'm a bit sad I didn't go to see Soul Kitchen because he was in it too.
